Some people will never give you a second chance. Some people will decide that you are a person of this or that kind, and if they are uncomfortable with the particular category they decide you belong to, you are out of luck. Some people will even go to the length of creating a special cohort around the idea of you like you’re toxic: ‘the people they don’t talk to’ group. Which is quite a shame, you know, because some people are wrong sometimes about other people.
